UH Carbon Footprint Report

The carbon footprint calculator we decided to use was provided by Clean Air-Cool Planet. It is a widely used and trusted calculator. It is used by the majority of colleges and universities which publicly report their greenhouse gas emissions.

 

The Campus Carbon Calculator, provided by Clean Air-Cool Planet, is accessible in two formats: an online version and a Excel spreadsheet version. We decided to use the Excel spreadsheet version, because of its ease of use and portability.

 

Clean Air-Cool Planet, itself, is an organization which encourages the development of sustainable solutions for campuses and communities. They also support and encourage national climate policies.
